华中科技大学口腔医学专业创立于1952年，是国内历史最悠久的口腔医学中心之一。学院以培养“拔尖创新口腔医学人才”为己任，大胆革新、勇于进取。现为“口腔医学国家级一流本科专业建设点”、“口腔医学一级学科博士学位授权点”，拥有“国家级实验教学示范基地”、“国家临床教学培训示范中心”、 “口腔颌面发育与再生湖北省重点实验室”、“湖北省口腔全科诊疗中心”、 “湖北省优秀基层教学组织”等一流的教研平台。2021年泰晤士高等教育—中国学科评级，获得A^–评级（口腔医学）；2021年软科—中国大学专业排名，评为A级学科（口腔医学）。

The oral medicine of Tongji Medical College of HUST originated from1952, and initialed the enrollment of undergraduate students with the establishment of the Department of Stomatology in 2003. In September 2020, it became today’s School of Stomatology, Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
